Elizabeth and Victoria disagree about Victoria's desire to look more alluring for Peter Cartland. Alice takes notice of Phyllis' drinking. Arthur vetoes Elizabeth's seating arrangement to encourage a relationship between Victoria and Peter. Phyllis can't contain her hostility toward Rosemary.
